Police Chase and Crash in Glendale, CA

Earlier today, Monday October 20, 2014, a white pickup truck was being chased by police on the 5 freeway at about 11:52 in the morning. The vehicle was seen driving inappropriately and failed to stop at red lights after exiting the freeway.

The truck ended up crashing near a home on Western Ave and Kenneth road. Authorities finally apprehended the suspect on the lawn of the home where she lay without resisting. An ambulance was also called to her aid, it is unknown what injuries she sustained, she was taken on a stretcher.

Authorities say the truck she was driving had been stolen. Given the negligence of this driver while on the road, many could have been injured had they crossed paths while the pursuit was taking place. Thankfully no one was hurt.
