A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday October 22, in South Los Angeles when a 7 year old lost his life while riding on an electric bike near an ice cream truck. The accident happened at 7 in the evening on 97th street. Police say the boy was likely hanging onto the ice cream truck and at some point slipped underneath it. Investigator says this was just a tragic accident and do not plan on arresting the driver of the truck, though neighbors in the area thought otherwise. A group of residence in the area threw bricks at the ice cream truck and one individual even pulled a knife on the driver. Police are now looking for the people involved.
